I grew up watching her shows… laughing along with every of her funny actions…
I received my very first Top 10 awards from her hands… one of the memorable moment…
沈殿霞, 肥姐… is now gone, to an unknown world.

omg i felt kinda shocked when i was reading this.. i couldn’t even belive my eyes when i came to the lines like “Another star had fallen…” and “沈殿霞, 肥姐… is now gone, to an unknown world.” … i thought she juz went for some medical treatments as my last caught-up was that she’s terminally ill…
i use to think always.. whenever ppl mention about anita mui, lesley cheung.. 小黑 etc.. what would the world be when ppl like 肥姐, or perhaps one day in the future to come jacky chan comes to the end of his life… it’s just, something that the whole world will know; while at the same time, perhaps, the others are leaving their loved ones too, the only thing different is, they are leaving silently……
well.. it’s so sad when came to realise 肥姐 has left us.. i grew up watching her shows too..

I knew this piece of sad news from my mummy on yesterday afternoon
At first, I dun belief wad my mummy say
There is also one thing came to my mind
Which was, is my mummy joking with me or wad?
But think back, it isn’t april fool day yet
So wad’s there for her to use Lydia’s life to joke with me?
Honestly, I nearly wanted to tell all these things to my mummy
But I didn’t expected that my mummy wants me to watch the TV screen that splashes out the latest headline on Channel News Asia channel
When I saw the headline, I was like Oh My God! Truly cannot belief wad my mummy say is indeed true!
So I told myself that I must wait for 1pm news on Channel 8 to hear wad is the main reason that she had left this world and also left us too
Because I all along known from the media that she is still going under treatment
And the HK media keep on reporting her that her condition from this illness had improve and will get in good health anytime
But frankly speaking, i didn’t expected she will leave this world so fast lol
I expected her to stay longer in this world
Also expected her in the future can see her daughter getting married
The last time I seen her on TV was Hong Kong TVB celebrated their 40th birthday/anniversary
I remember they put her towards the end of the programme to get this award
I even remember not only she was there, her daughter, Joyce was there too
She was been invited going there to sing a song for her mummy to listen lol
Now she is gone than let us put this rememberance into our heart and mind
Whether you are Christian or not, please pray for her daughter, Joyce in order she can stay brave and strong forever w/o the mummy beside her

2008 doesnt seem to be a good year. =(
This is another sad news as we have lost a star (MC King) and now Lydia is gone. I did not know when my wife and daughter was mentioning it to me yesterday during the news. I thought that was a joke but later confirmed it is true.
Life is short and we should be prepared ourselves to live life in full. Do what you want to do and leave without regrets. She was so lively and cheerful person. The last time I heard that she was going through treatment.
Let us pray for her soul and her daughter to be strong to face it.

half of the year had not gone and just within one month and three weeks, we alread lost two people from the same entertainment industry but living in different country
they are MC King and now, Lydia Sum
both of their death news is truly indeed shocking to both Singapore and Hong Kong peoples
why?
it is because both of them are comedian actor and actress
the both of them had the same goal that people will never think of and never knew of
so dun you think isn’t sad that we had lost the both of them?
ya man. such a sad story. 🙁 loved her for being who she is. very direct but yet so soft to ppl whom she dearly loved. always loved her pairing with bill dong…both of them passed away in their prime. but people will always remember her fondly. 🙂
yeah, i hope joyce is strong enough to overcome this ordeal. hope she can handle it well.
All good thing comes to an end… Sad but life still has to go on… Hey Happy Sweet 36 birthday!! May u find a life partner soon!!!!
